9-Year-Old Forced To Learn To Walk Again After Catching Covid Raises Over £7,000 For NHS | GMB

A little girl who has had to learn to walk again after suffering from Covid, is doing laps around her garden to raise money for the NHS who helped her. Emily Saville, nine, tested positive for COVID on the 15th September 2021, and was so ill she couldn’t move properly without being in constant pain. She now has long Covid and has been in severe pain ever since and is learning how to walk again. Doctors were puzzled by her symptoms initially and didn’t know it was Covid. Since December she has completed 46 circuits, collecting nearly £5000. "It's been horrendous, she couldn't get off her seat, she couldn't get out of bed, she couldn't wash herself. Now she can walk with a walker."
